I don't believe one can actually separate it out. and when writer's simply compose what their agents pitch, readers can inform. The composing lacks the enthusiasm.
Oh, yeah, I certainly have to remain in the mood to write whatever scene I'm working on. Initially, I have to let the story roll around in my head for about a week.
